Privacy Policy
Updated October 3, 2026
Faux Fox, Inc. is a software company in the United States. This policy covers our company website and the account and sign-in services used by our products. Each product's privacy policy describes its additional features, support, diagnostics, and purchases. For Mirage, see the Mirage Privacy Policy.
Account information and sign-in
We use WorkOS for authentication. When you sign in, we receive your email address supplied by the sign-in provider, your name, profile photo URL and locale when supplied, and identifiers that connect your sign-in identity to your account. WorkOS processes your IP address and browser information to authenticate and secure sign-in. Our services do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Sign in with Google requests your email address and basic profile information to identify you, create or access your account, and display your name and profile photo when supplied. We store the account profile and identity identifiers needed for those purposes. This sign-in does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendars. Sign in with Apple may provide your name and an Apple private relay email address instead of your personal email address.
Devices, sessions, and website requests
Products using our account services store account and device identifiers, device names, platforms, installation identifiers, public authentication keys, session activity and expiry, and security records to manage access and prevent abuse. Device credentials remain in secure storage on your device. Account pages use essential cookies for sign-in sessions and request protection. Hosting providers process IP addresses and request information needed to serve and secure the website.
How information is used and shared
We use account information to authenticate you, provide the products you choose, manage authorized devices and sessions, respond to support requests, and protect our services. WorkOS provides authentication; Cloudflare provides hosting and service infrastructure; PlanetScale hosts managed account databases. Google or Apple processes sign-in when you select that provider. Authorized Faux Fox staff can access information when needed to operate these services or provide support. Information you email to support is processed through Google Workspace.
We do not sell personal information or use account sign-in information for advertising or cross-app tracking. Google sign-in data is used for the account purposes described above. Product-specific processing, including information you choose to send to another service, is described in that product's privacy policy.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
We keep account and device information while needed to provide access. Session lifetimes depend on the product. Mirage native sessions expire after 90 days without a successful renewal. Expired sign-in requests are periodically removed; Mirage's revoked browser sessions are eligible for cleanup after 30 days. Limited security and deletion records may remain for operational or legal purposes.
You can manage devices and sessions through the product's account settings. Deleting a Mirage account removes its product sign-in identity link and device records, clears its account name, email, profile photo URL and locale, and revokes its sessions. It does not automatically delete your upstream WorkOS identity, accounts in other products, support correspondence, purchase records, or data already on your devices. Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions.
Contact [email protected] to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information, including records that remain outside a product account. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Service providers and international processing
We operate from the United States. Service providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy information is available from WorkOS, Cloudflare, PlanetScale, Google, and Apple.
